Summary

Landmarc Support Services is seeking a Team Supervisor at West Tofts Camp in Thetford to collaborate with the Team Manager in overseeing a multi-disciplinary team. The role requires ensuring team motivation and engagement to meet contractual requirements effectively.

The Team Supervisor will instil confidence in the employer by ensuring the seamless service delivery of the Training Area, Ranges, and camp, ensuring customer needs are consistently met.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing team performance, welfare, attendance, behaviour, capability, health and safety, record keeping etc.
  • Supervise daily workloads and ensure timely task completion of work orders, PPMs, and range management processes
  • Allocate tasks and verify work
  • Support the Team Manager in managing performance, motivation, and target setting for individuals and teams
  • Oversee team skills and capability development
  • Manage resource and equipment allocation (plant, vehicles, etc.)
  • Assist with risk assessments and method statements
  • Maintain records related to HR, Health and Safety, etc.
  • Assist in managing and allocating accommodation bids
  • Oversee training area usage and carry out routine inspections
  • Ensure maintenance tasks are completed safely
  • Manage range documentation and allocation
  • Assist in managing services and contractors
  • Promote best practices and continuous improvement
The Ideal Candidate
  • Understanding of management theories and techniques with proven people management experience
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety, including COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments, and safe systems of work at IOSH Managing Safely level
  • Understanding of workload scheduling and work order processes
  • Strong people management skills with effective feedback
  • Understanding of KPIs and contractual requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication with people on all levels
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Commitment to continuous improvement
  • Ability to manage performance with appraisal processes
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duties
  • Must hold Full Valid UK Driving Licence
