Summary
The Recruitment Co. is urgently recruiting for a Manual Loading Operator to join our clients team based in the Baglan area. Paid Weekly! Temp to perm contract!!
Rate of pay: £11.45ph inc 15% shift allowance= £13.17ph (overtime available at higher rates)
Hours of work: Full time: 39.17 hours pw. Shift Pattern: Tuesday - Saturday rotating shifts weekly (06:00 - 14:00/14:00 - 22:00) Tuesday to Friday. Saturday hours 06:00/14:00 - 08:00/16:00.
Contract: Temp to Perm after 12 weeks providing candidate meets performance and job spec criteria below.
Main Responsibilities:
- Load finished goods using manual material handling equipment
- Check load is safe and secure
- Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies
- Work closely and in cooperation with the rest of the Day Services and Shift teams
- Carry out any other reasonable request and support the colleagues in case of need
- To ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift
- To ensure health & safety rules are adhered to
Requirements:
- Has previous experience working in manufacturing or a warehouse environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Works well in a team and individually
- DBS checks will be carried out on day 1 of the assignment and the company offers a NO conviction policy.
