Summary

The Loading Bay Supervisor will develop and lead operational excellence and best practice; optimising our service and value offering to customers to achieve performance targets.
This position is for an impressive office-led development in the City of London. We are looking for someone who will ensure the delivery of world-class customer centric services whilst managing the day-to-day operational requirements in line with customer expectations and contractual requirements.
Information:

Position: Loading Bay Supervisor
Location: Central London (EC3)
Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour
Hours: 55 hours per week
Shifts: Days - Monday to Friday

Job Requirements:

SIA Licence required.
Loading Bay/Post Room/Logistics experience within a large building is required.
Experience supervising/managing teams as well as using delivery management software and booking platforms.
A working knowledge or an interest in the customer service environment
Must have experience in working within a team as well as on your own and have the ability to operate in a pressurised environment.
Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.

Excellent levels of customer service at all times as well as communication both written & verbal
Reliable, Responsible and Punctual.
To have a smart appearance befitting the company.
Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Be calm & confident under pressure in dealing with confrontational situations in a professional manner.
Must be able to demonstrate a professional and proactive approach towards Security and have an attention to detail and be proactive.
Excellent time management & task prioritisation skills.
Must have experience in working within a team as well as on your own and have the ability to operate in a pressurised environment.
Banksman trained, or willing to undergo the training.

Job Responsibilities:

To be responsible for the day to day running of the loading bay and post room team, supervising all colleagues.
To ensure that all security personnel adhere to their duties and policies and procedures of the site at all times and report any breach of these immediately to the Security Manager
To ensure that all Deliveries and couriers are dealt with efficiently.
To ensure that all contractors are booked in and out effectively and maintain communication with the service teams accordingly.
To ensure the handover is checked at the beginning of the shift to ensure all vital details are carried out before their time.
To ensure the highest standards of customer care are maintained all times.
To keep a proactive outlook & carry out regular patrols in conjunction with the extended security team.
Liaise regularly with the Security Managers and Occupiers service teams ensuring that they are kept updated on all important aspects.
Carry out any reasonable requests made by CIS management.
Deliver and encourage outstanding customer service delivery.
Ensure that all personnel always adhere to their duties and policies and procedures of the site, reporting any breach of these to the Security Manager
To control vehicle access/egress into the loading bay
Prepare and maintain all loading bay operational equipment, including the Xray machine.
Ensure the loading bay and post room is always kept tidy and clean.
Ensure all post/deliveries are processed using the MyTAG system and delivered to occupiers within the agreed SLA’s.
Inspect equipment for failures and faults, reporting these in line with procedures.
Report any issues or incidents to the Security Manager.
Respond to all incidents in line with policies and procedures ensuring all incidents and issues are formally investigated and recorded.
Assist the Security Manager as per the needs of the site.
Maintain a high level of morale and discipline within the team, taking into consideration their welfare.
Carry out training with colleagues and ensure that there are suitable personnel on your shift able to step up and cover your role.
Demonstrate a strong aptitude for multi-tasking.
Excellent understanding of loading bays.
Team player, who will support colleagues and provide ideas to improve service delivery.
Ability to think and act quickly in emergency incidents or under pressure.
