Summary
PS Limited have an exciting opportunity for a Fork Lift truck driver, to work in a well known distribution Centre in Coalville.
Must have an accredited Counter Balance, held for a minimum of 2 year's.
Monday - Friday
13.30pm - 22.00
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse
- Safely transport materials to designated areas using forklifts
- Inspect and maintain forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist with inventory management by accurately recording and tracking materials using a warehouse management system
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
You will be expected to also help out in the Warehouse, assisting where needed.
Experience:
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or similar environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic equipment repairs as needed
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
Skills:
- Warehouse: Knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management and organization
- Load unload: Ability to load and unload materials from trucks or containers using forklifts or other equipment
- Shipping receiving: Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes in a warehouse setting
- Heavy lifting: Ability to lift heavy objects or materials as required by the job
- Warehouse management system: Experience using a warehouse management system to track inventory and manage materials
