Summary
We are looking for a reliable and experienced babysitter to join our recruitment agency. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for children, a deep understanding of child development, and a proven track record of providing safe and engaging care for children of various ages.
**Responsibilities:**
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote growth and development.
- Prepare meals and snacks for children, ensuring proper nutrition and dietary needs.
- Assist with homework and educational activities.
- Maintain a clean and organised environment, including tidying up after activities and meals.
- Change nappies and assist with potty training, as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's day and any concerns or observations.
- Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, following appropriate protocols.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a babysitter or in a similar childcare role.
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
- Ability to handle multiple children and varying needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
- Ability to provide references from previous childcare positions.
