RE Teacher in Bedford
We are seeking an experienced RE Teacher in Bedford. The ideal candidate will need to have a strong subject knowledge of the RE curriculum and be able to adapt the learning to teach the students effectively. The candidate must have a respectful teaching approach.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in religious education (preferred)
• Teaching experience within the past 5 years (essential)
• Strong and confident subject knowledge of the RE curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Enhanced DBS certificate (essential requirement and if you don’t have a DBS you must be willing to obtain one)
Job Description:
• Teach RE to students across the various year groups
• Create lesson plans and resources
• Assess students progress, providing constructive feedback
• Be able to adapt planning to suit various needs across the classroom
• Foster an engaging learning atmosphere
• Communicate with parents or carers effectively
