Summary


TheProjectinitiationSpecialistisakeymemberoftheDigitalAdministrationandProjectInitiationteam.



TheroleisresponsibleforsupportingtheProjectInitiationTeaminthedeliveryofacomprehensive,confidentialandsensitivehighqualityadministrativesupportforpotentialdigitalprojectsfromacrosstheTrust.ThepostholderwillworkwithprojectmanagerstooverseethecompletionofthedocumentationinaccordancewiththeProjectManagementOffice(PMO)guidanceinpreparationforapprovalviatheDigitalSolutionsBoardandsubsequentlybytheDigitalOperational andTransformationBoard.

Thepost holder isexpectedtobeusespecialist knowledgetoprovide supportfor allpotentialprojectinitiationadministrativerelatedelements.

· Promotecontinualimprovementinquality,performanceand deliveryofTrustobjectiveswithin projectinitiation team

· SupporttheSeniorProjectInitiation SpecialistinestablishingandleadingProjectScoping Groupswhererequired

· Organisationandplanningofadministrativesupporttotherelevantportfolio,programme,projectandtransformationmanagersinrelationtothescoping,costingandschedulingofpotentialdigitalprojects

· Coordinatingmeetingswithstakeholdersandsuppliers

· Providesupportinthepreparation ofrelevantProjectInitiationdocumentationfortheDigitalSolutionsBoard.

· Organisationandplanningofworkloadprioritisingaccordinglytoensureatimelydeliverytomeetdeadlines

· Developandmaintaineffectiverelationships withkeystakeholders internallyandexternallyprovidingregularfeedbackandupdatereports

· Supportwiththedevelopmentofthebusinessand planning processesthroughoutthedepartmenttodeliverservicestorequired standardsandwithintheavailableresourcebase
• EnsuretheefficientorganisationoftheserviceswithinProjectInitiationteammakingbestuseofcapacitytodeliveractivitywithintheterms ofServiceLevelAgreements(SLAs)and withcosteffective utilisationofstaffandnon-payresources

· AssistintherecruitmentandselectionofnewProjectInitiationstaffincollaboration withDigitalAdministration&ProjectInitiationManager

· Supportlessexperiencedmembersoftheteamwhenrequired
