Summary
Do you have a background in Catering in Restaurants, Hotel’s, or Events venues and a passion for providing an outstanding customer experience?
We are looking for two Catering & Retail Supervisors, (full-time & part-time) to work in a fantastic environment on a beautiful floating visitor village and event venue, located on the main lake on our largest family friendly nature reserve.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who is looking for a change of pace from the usual catering industry hours, and would be interested in moving into the charitable sector. The venue is open to the public 9am – 5pm, with around 20-30 events every year requiring additional working hours, such as weddings and conferences, so we offer something different from the catering industry standard of split shifts, weekly late closes and early opens.
The Catering & Retail Supervisor's will be a visible presence in the team and will lead from the front, developing a culture of customer service excellence, and providing an integral part of the overall visitor experience which reflects the core values of the Trust.
The successful applicant's will have experience of catering best practice and a proven track record of exceptional customer service in a restaurant environment or similar.
