Summary


We are looking to recruit a staff nurse for the for the community nursing covering the Aldershot locality.

Community nursing involves delivering nursing care to patients in their own homes, this could be administering medication, changing a dressing or changing a catheter.

This post is open to newly qualified and registered RN's who are looking for a change.

For newly qualified nurses we offer the preceptorship course.

You will given full support with a comprehensive induction for the role, with the support of our community practice development nurse with opportunities for further CPD, inhouse and university modules.

This role required a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.

Mileage expenses are claimable via the trust expenses system.

The role of the Community Staff Nurse is to provide skilled nursing care under the supervision of the District Nurse/Community Sister/charge nurse.
The post holder is responsible for contributing to the development, implementation, and valuation
of evidence-based programmes of care, working in collaboration with the Team leader and community sister/charge nurse as part of the community nursing team.
They will undertake nursing duties which involve the delivery of nursing services and holistic assessments of patient’s health using a person-centred approach.
They will be proactive in the reduction of unnecessary hospital admissions for their patients by co-ordinating their care and participating in inter-professional working.
The post holder will be a participative member of the community nursing team.
