Summary
We are looking for highly motivated, and skilled individuals to join our busy Administration and Clerical team, within the Integrated Community Care Group. Post Holders will support the administration requirements of Service Managers, Therapy Leads and Matrons across a wide range of Nursing and Allied Health Professional services.
We are looking for someone who works confidently giving attention to details; is efficient, demonstrating a helpful, courteous, and professional manner. Your main responsibilities will be to assist management administratively in day-to-day operational functioning of services. Ideally you will have previous clerical and administrative experience and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

Deal with telephone enquiries from patients, the public, work colleagues and other stakeholders
Be competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher and Powerpoint
Oversee administration tasks and ensure all duties are completed in a timely and efficient manner
Develop, maintain and monitor office systems and make changes as appropriate.
Support Therapy Leads, Matrons & Service Managers in the day to day running of services.
We operate from three main hospitals-Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, as well as a number of community healthcare premises including Millom Hospital and GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, and Ulverston Community Health Centre.
FGH and the RLI have a range of General Hospital services, with full Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units and various Consultant-led services.
WGH provides a range of General Hospital services, together with an Urgent Treatment Centre, that can help with a range of non-life threatening conditions such as broken bones and minor illnesses.
All three main hospitals provide a range of planned care including outpatients, diagnostics, therapies, day case and inpatient surgery. In addition, a range of local outreach services and diagnostics are provided from community facilities across Morecambe Bay.
