Teaching Personnel is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to join one of our partner Welsh Medium Primary Schools as a Learning Support Assistant starting full-time in September. This rewarding position involves supporting children with emotional and behavioural challenges, with occasional teaching assistant duties.

Key Responsibilities:
- Emotional and Behavioural Support: Provide consistent support for children with emotional and behavioural needs, fostering strong, stable relationships.
- Small Group Interventions: Assist in behaviour provision sessions, helping students integrate into mainstream classes through phased support.
- One-on-One Assistance: Offer personalized support to individual students, addressing their unique needs.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience: Previous experience supporting challenging behaviour and young people's social, emotional, and mental health needs is highly desirable.
- Relationship Building: Ability to form trusting relationships and serve as a positive role model.
- Resilience: Thick-skinned and resilient, able to work effectively with pupils at risk of exclusion.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Passion: A genuine desire to make a positive impact on young lives.
- Transportation: Access to a vehicle is desirable.
- Sensitivity: An understanding and sensitivity to the challenges faced by young people.

Additional Requirements:
- References: Provide two professional references.
- Eligibility: Right to work in the UK.
- DBS Check: Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed).
- EWC Registration: Assistance provided for registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
