Summary

Crisis Support Worker

Location: Gloucestershire and surrounding areas

Do you have a passion for supporting young people in crisis? We are currently recruiting Crisis Support Workers to provide urgent assistance to children and young people in need. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a highly valuable service, with both day and night shifts available.

Role Overview:

As a Crisis Support Worker, you will be dedicated to empowering individuals, helping them build self-confidence, develop life skills, and form healthy relationships. We seek committed individuals who strive to provide the highest standard of support, offering both professional and personal rewards. Successful candidates should have experience working with children and young people, mental health, or adults in crisis.

Contract/Position Details:
- Position: Crisis Support Worker (Family Support)
- Location: Gloucestershire and surrounding areas
- Type of Work: Supporting Adults and Young People
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Ongoing agency cover
- Contract Type: Temporary, with full-time potential
- Pay Rate: £12.78 - £15 per hour
- Hours: Day shifts, night shifts, weekend shifts, evening shifts, supervised contacts, welfare checks

Training and Qualifications:
- Experience in a support work/care environment
- Up-to-date mandatory training in Food Hygiene, Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Infection Prevention, Equality and Diversity, and Autism training (all available for free through us)
- Safeguarding training is essential; you can complete a free course with with us if not completed in the last 12 months
- Health and Social Care Level 2 or 3 (desirable but not essential)

Eligibility Requirements:
- Right to Work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application
- Two professional care-related references
