Summary
We are thrilled to collaborate with an outstanding SEMH school in search of a suitable candidate ASAP, to provide support to pupils both inside and outside of classrooms. Each day presents unique challenges, and you'll have the opportunity to assist pupils in classrooms, on school grounds, during activities and trips, as well as with vocational learning. Our goal is for every staff member to make a positive impact on the lives of the pupils under our care. There's also an exciting opportunity for this role to become permanent within the school!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support pupils in lessons and around the school grounds
- Assist pupils with activities on and off-site
- Support teachers and instructors in delivering lessons and activities
- Promote safeguarding and pupil welfare, a responsibility shared by all staff members
- Manage and record behaviour when necessary
- Maintain the classroom environment, including displays
- Liaise with tutors and family support
- Provide support in behaviour management and student welfare, working one-on-one or in small groups as needed
