Job Title: Assistant Pastor (Assembly Operations)
Reports to: Senior Pastor
Department: Evangelism
JOB SUMMARY

This role would also require serving the community. Following the church's strategic plan to promote the gospel of our Lord and personal Saviour, Jesus Christ, to empower the community by creating and adding value to the people through the teaching and preaching of the word of God, we have established a mission to empower the community by creating and adding value to the people.
Requirements
• Deep knowledge and understanding of the Code of Conduct, Rules of Beliefs and the Tenets of The Apostolic Church Worldwide.
• Baptised in The Apostolic Church with a certificate
• The Apostolic Church Right Hand of Fellowship certificate.
• Minimum Deaconry certification / Eldership (Advantage).
• Christian leaders' certification.
• Knowledge of the Christian calendar and patterns of worship and Christian nurture
• Be an active communicant member of the Apostolic Church
Job Descriptions and Responsibilities
• Prepares and delivers sermon, talks and leads the congregation in worship.
• Interprets doctrines and instructs intending clergy members in religious
principles and practices;
• Provides and arranges the provision of religious instruction to congregation
members.
• Performs marriages, funerals, baptisms, and other special religious rites according to The Apostolic Church Doctrines.
• Provides pastoral care to members of the congregation in their homes and in hospitals and counsels those in need of spiritual or moral guidance.
• Undertakes administration and social duties as required.
• Facilitate Pastoral tasks and Processes
• Encourage leadership development/power shifts
• Maintain or establish strong links with other denominations
• Must be fluent in 3 main Nigerian languages, ability to interpret into those
languages.
• Facilitate Management services tasks and Processes.
• Be committed to the mission and values of The Apostolic Church
