Summary

Due to restrictions on the number of certificates we can issue at present, candidates without an existing visa or right to work in the UK are unlikely to be suitable for the advertised post.

No two days are the same when working with Keane Premier Support Services. Our social support team staff have an important role in making a positive difference to everyday lives.

We create a bespoke team around the people we support, and we work together to bring out the best in everyone!

The shift pattern varies and will require evenings, weekend work and potentially sleepovers or nightshifts.

Due to the nature of the role, we require applicants to hold a full drivers licence. One of the benefits of working with Keane is that we will provide you wiith use of one of our Company cars whilst you are carrying out your support visits (Fuel and insurance are covered by Keane).

Please note that as a Driver you will have driver duties and this can include picking up passengers whilst on shift.

Main responsibilities:

  • Offering 1:1 support, helping clients with a range of complex needs.
  • Supporting clients to attend college and clubs.
  • Assisting clients to day-to-day activities of their choice.
  • Supporting and encouraging the promotion of a healthy lifestyle.
  • Participating in the implementation and monitoring of individual support plans.
  • Providing support in all aspects of personal care.
  • Carry out housekeeping duties and day to day tasks.
  • Assist clients with managing finances.
  • Utilise all communication methods to listen and talk to clients to promote their wellbeing.
  • Encourage the relationships that our clients have with family, friends, and the wider community.
  • Maintain and promote our client’s independence.
  • Be mindful of adult protection issues and report accordingly.
  • At all times, be mindful of equality and diversity, and behave culturally sensitive manner.
