Who we need

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious person to join our Sport and Public Services team. The successful candidate will teach across the sport curriculum on levels Entry 3 to Level 3, with a key focus on Teaching, Learning and Assessment. You will assume responsibilities for course leadership and progress tutorials and will teach and assess across a wide range of subjects across the sports curriculum. Experience of working in education and the Public Services is desired and an ability to deliver all curriculum subjects is preferred.

What you’ll bring

With previous experience of teaching, you’ll have a practical, but creative approach that generates outstanding lessons that fully engage and inspire students, with ability to create innovative methods of learning.

The successful candidate will:

Hold or be prepared to be work towards a recognised teaching qualification
Demonstrate a commitment to contribute to the curriculum delivery across our Faculty provision
Possess excellent organisation and communication skills
Work as part of a team
Be passionate about teaching in Further Education
Create and deliver engaging teaching, learning and assessment
Be able to work in a demanding and changing environment
Be committed to ensuring our students make the best progress possible
