Summary
We are looking to recruit a Pharmacy assistant or technician with purchasing and IT experience to work in our busy but friendly team based in pharmacy. The role involves supporting the procurement team and assisting with the management of the trust wide temperature monitoring system. This is a vital role which provides extensive procurement support and oversees the full temperature monitoring service at our 3 sites.
This position is vital to maintain the care of our patients and has close working relationships with the trust’s ward staff and pharmacy colleagues based at our other sites.
You must be willing to work hard, be able to manage your own work load as well as meeting the needs of our service users. Working patterns: Full time.
• Supervising junior staff
• Supporting with training others
• Participating in reviewing SOPs
• Investigating incident reports
• Supporting workflow
• Stock control, ordering and supply of medicines
• Managing trust wide temperature monitoring system
