Summary

We have an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join our busy Workforce Systems & Information Team as a Roster Advisor.

The successful candidate will work within the e-Rostering Team to support a range of professional groups with efficient and effective rostering.

You will work closely with head of e-Rostering and be primarily responsible for carrying out operational roster reviews, updating roster templates in line with service needs and budgets, configuring complex shift patterns and rules to enable the effective use of auto rostering.

The post holder will be the first point of contact for a wide range of trust services, offering advice, support and the delivery of training for staff and management.

If you are motivated by working in a team committed to service improvement, possess excellent communication skills, front-line customer service experience and the ability to prioritise and organise workload with competing priorities, we look forward to hearing from you.

Interview to be held on 21 June 2024.

Support the day-to-day usage of the e-rostering system by providing technical expertise to resolve frontline user issues swiftly.

Support roster creators and department managers with advice and guidance on using the system and practical rostering principles, promoting best practices.

Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders in the divisions and services the post holder is aligned to understand the needs of these services and, therefore, deliver professional and bespoke rostering services.

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust provides a range of medical services to approximately 490,000 people living across southwest London and northeast Surrey. In addition, we provide more specialist services, in particular renal and neonatal intensive care, to a wider area, covering parts of Sussex and Hampshire.

We serve an area that is rich in diversity, with a mix of urban and rural areas, and differing levels of quality of life. We cover some of the most prosperous postcodes in the country, as well as some poorer areas. Together with our colleagues at NHS Surrey and NHS Sutton and Merton, we work to make sure that we deliver the best possible care to the communities we serve.

The Trust employs approximately 5,000 staff across its hospitals and is supported by over 500 volunteers.
