Summary

Global Policing are a well established company who work to support schools across Manchester, Lancashire and further afield.
We are looking for an outstanding individual who is determined to provide high quality service to schools.

To work with several Primary Schools in an Education Cluster to ensure pupils attend school on time and to address absence issues by conducting home visits to parents/guardians of pupils that have been identified by school as having poor attendance records and/or are classed as persistently absent.
To work with the pupil, their family, and the school to create individualised attendance plans and provide support and interventions. Promoting the school’s positive attendance culture and providing evidence packages should school feel there is a requirement.

Working with 5 Primary Schools in a Cluster your working day will start at 0900. The schools you have been allocated to work with will have identified a caseload of families/pupils whose attendance has been identified as being a concern.
From 0900 to 1400 you will conduct home visits to the families/guardians of children who the school have identified as “persistently absent”. The aim will be to develop a strong working relationship with the family to identify any issues that may be causing the persistent absence at school. You will form a communication pathway between the family and school to ensure the pupil’s attendance levels improve.
