Summary


**NOTE - Spectrum are not a Sponsoring organisation - This is a Hybrid working role, candidates would be expected to work from our Head Office in Wakefield 3x per week**

The Informatics team is a new team within Spectrum and is looking to shape the direction of how the company uses its data. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Business Intelligence Developer to develop data dashboards using PowerBI, in line with Spectrum's Digital Strategy and it's Data-Driven Agenda.

The Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of all dashboards and reports created in PowerBI, and lead on projects related to the development of content for the dashboards, from all stages of the development life-cycle.

The organisation has also invested in a Data Warehouse using Azure SQL Database and the candidate will also be responsible for the all related Data Warehouse development tasks; they will also demonstrate knowledge of data modelling concepts, such as the Kimball methodology, and Star/Snowflake schemas.

The Business Intelligence Developer will also be required to develop solutions that will aid in the data entry, collation and extraction of data across the organisation using tools such as PowerAutomate, PowerAutomate Desktop and Visual Basic for Applications.

Spectrum also work with Secure Environments, so the candidate will also be required to hold Enhanced DBS Clearance.

Develop and maintain all Organisational data dashboards using Power BI. This includes all aspects of data modelling, PowerQuery and creating complex measure using DAX.

Maintaining Spectrum's Azure SQL Data Warehouse. This will include the development of automated Stored Procedures to load and process data on a daily basis.

To lead on projects to develop and improve methods of data entry, collation and extraction across the organisation using Agile Project Management methodology.

To suggest and support service change and innovation, through detailed analysis of business data.

To work and collaborate with colleagues in the immediate Informatics team, and across the wider organisation.
