What you’ll be doing

As the Wesley Community Charity Shop Manager, you will play a key part in our exciting plans to expand the scope of our much-loved
community furniture shop. You will help us to drive new business to the refurbished and revamped shop, expand our offer of
household goods to the local community, further reduce our environmental impact and create opportunities for people through
volunteering, groups and workshops.

What we need from you

* Experience of management in a similar setting
* A proven track record of recruiting, training, and effectively managing a staff and volunteer team.
* A talent for creating new opportunities for people in the local community and a commitment to improving the environment and
reducing waste.
* The ability and drive to identify and develop new income sources
* You will need an enhanced level DBS check for this role.

What we will offer you in return

* An annual salary of £28,770 NJC Point 17
* A permanent, full-time contract with Tuesday to Saturday working
* 25 days holiday, and 30 once you've been here five years

* A relaxed culture where you are expected to plan your own day, take breaks when you need them and enjoy your work
* Ongoing personal and professional development through regular supervision
* A supportive, flexible approach to managing staff health and wellbeing, including a wide range of perks, schemes and support.

Studies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply for jobs unless they meet every single qualification.
We are dedicated to creating a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace and would especially like to hear from applicants from
Black, Asian and other racially marginalised communities.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 23rd June. Applications received after this time will not be considered and CVs will
not be accepted. Interviews will take place on the 25th and 26th June.
