Summary

Salary:
- Starting at £51,831.00 (with annual incremental increases until the top of the grade is reached)
- Essential Car User Allowance or Electric Vehicle User Allowance if you choose to opt into our Electric Vehicle Salary Sacrifice Scheme

Working Hours:
- 35 hours per week, 7 hours per day
- Monday to Friday
- 60% workplace attendance normally expected each week with the option to work the remainder remotely
- Occasional evening and weekend working required
- The Association operates a Flexible Working System

East Lothian Housing Association is a growing organisation that builds and manages a wide range of properties to meet a variety of needs within East Lothian. From our office in Haddington, we currently manage around 1,400 properties for rent and shared ownership throughout the area. Our subsidiary company, R3 Repairs Limited, provides a repair and maintenance service for our properties and other customers.

Job Role
As Asset Manager you will be responsible for the provision of a professional, effective and pro-active repair and maintenance service to the Association’s tenants with the aim of ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction. This includes the responsibility for the operational management and delivery of our Asset Management services as well as supporting and managing staff.

Being a key member of the Business Management Team, you will also be responsible for working on a range of activities to contribute to the overall success of the Group.

Requirements of Post
You must hold a technical or professional qualification in Building Construction / Technology.

You must also have experience of domestic property repairs and maintenance, stock condition survey work and setting and controlling revenue budgets.

You must also possess excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills, hold a current driving licence and have the use of a car. An understanding of digital service development would also be desirable.
