Summary
Randstad C&P are recruiting on behalf of a multifaceted, Tier One construction firm based in Bristol. The contractor are seeking a Project Manager to run a commercialscheme valued at £4m, with a strong, secure prooject pipeline following this; including works within leisure, healthcare, industrial extensions and refubishment of Grade II listed buildings.
The role requires someone who has worked in a similar capacity as a Number One on similar size schemes. The role also needs a dynamic and commercially savvy inidividual who ideally has worked previously for a Tier one contractor or a regional Tier two contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation to completion
- Act as the primary liaison with clients, providing regular updates and maintaining strong relationships
- Coordinate and lead teams of architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors
- Ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout all projects
- Identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management within the construction industry
- Proven track record with office refurbishments, warehouse extensions, refurbishment of listed buildings, and general commercial schemes
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets effectively
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry best practices
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities and a client-focused approa
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skill
