Summary

Randstad C&P are recruiting on behalf of a multifaceted, Tier One construction firm based in Bristol. The contractor are seeking a Project Manager to run a commercialscheme valued at £4m, with a strong, secure prooject pipeline following this; including works within leisure, healthcare, industrial extensions and refubishment of Grade II listed buildings.

The role requires someone who has worked in a similar capacity as a Number One on similar size schemes. The role also needs a dynamic and commercially savvy inidividual who ideally has worked previously for a Tier one contractor or a regional Tier two contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation to completion
  • Act as the primary liaison with clients, providing regular updates and maintaining strong relationships
  • Coordinate and lead teams of architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout all projects
  • Identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management within the construction industry
  • Proven track record with office refurbishments, warehouse extensions, refurbishment of listed buildings, and general commercial schemes
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets effectively
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry best practices
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities and a client-focused approa
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skill
