Summary


We are currently recruiting for a Senior Divisional Data Analyst to join our Business Informatics team at ESNEFT.

This is a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate your technical expertise while collaborating closely with our clinical team. This will require a balance of strong technical and interpersonal skills.

Providing a bespoke business intelligence service to operational and clinical colleagues to ensure data informs key decisions for operational planning and administering patient care.

Responsible for supporting the Head of Analytics in the seamless delivery of bespoke robust business intelligence (information and performance analysis) to stakeholders across our clinical divisions

Core focus on the provision of bespoke analysis to operational and clinical customers by using analytics techniques including regular performance dashboards, demand and capacity modelling, business planning, statistical analysis, and responding to ad hoc queries for information and analysis.

Working as an ‘Analytical Business Partner’, you will ensure that operational and clinical colleagues in the Operational Division have timely access to the insights they require to make strategic and tactical decisions.

You will also have experience in working with benchmarking tools, activity forecasting, modelling, and statistical analysis. You will have proven experience in using SQL querying for analysis and programming languages such R or Python.
• Provide specialist advice across a wide range of information areas: collation, analysis, interpretation, evaluation and timely reporting of accurate data and information relating to activity, performance, clinical quality and outcomes within the Trust in accordance with national and local data quality and data protection requirements.
• Investigate a range of specialist and complex information issues to inform Trust business planning and decision making.
• Design and implement information solutions to meet the needs of a changing information environment and Clinical environments.
• To work with staff at all levels within the Trust to develop the informatics function in line with the Informatics Programme Board Strategy..

Analytical Support
• Provide specialist quantitative and qualitative complex data analysis to Operational Managers, Executive Managers and Clinicians to support the Business in order to maintain quality, safety and financial sustainability.
• Take the lead Information Specialist role for specific areas.
• Source, validate, analyse, interpret and present data for Trust stakeholders, both internal and external.
• Provide accurate analytics to support the implementation of transformation and efficiency programmes, independently and in collaboration with other Divisional Analyst colleagues and the Advanced Analytics Team.
• Respond to complex queries requiring the utilisation of specialist knowledge across a range of areas, work procedures and practices, underpinned by theoretical knowledge and relevant practical experience.

Performance Monitoring and Forecasting
• Consult/coordinate with relevant administrative and clinical stakeholders to plan and implement the collection and submission of mandatory datasets (national or local requirements) where required.
• Working with the other members of the wider Business Informatics Team to ensure local reports and national returns are submitted according to relevant timetables.
• Be the responsible lead for the completion and submission of statutory returns and mandatory datasets on behalf of the Trust or Clinical Division as required.
• Be the responsible lead for the completion and submission of contractual reporting requirements to the Trust’s Commissioners as outlined in local and national contracts as required.
• Provide timely activity and performance analysis to inform key meetings.
• Specify, design and implement new processes or systems to support developing information requirements.
• Complete statistical analysis of activity to ensure robust forecasting is available to stakeholders, in line with Trust timetables, with Divisional insight.
• To develop and maintain activity planning and forecasting tools and reporting, working with the Data Engineering Team to develop appropriate data warehouse views as required.
