Cover Teacher
Area: Daventry

Monarch Education are looking for two Cover Teachers with the relevant qualifications or references needed for Teaching in UK Schools. Candidates need to be flexible and can work on a casual basis.
Travel is restricted for candidates on public transport
The ideal candidate will:
- Have Teaching experience or references commenting on their experience as an Unqualified Teacher
- Be highly organised with excellent communication skills
- Have a desire to work with, inspire and support children
- Have excellent behaviour management skills
- Be able to plan lessons thoroughly or follow other plans created by Teachers
- Lead a class of 20-30 children
- Work on a casual basis
Main Responsibilities:
- Planning lessons and activities for whole class learning and group learning
- Supporting SEND children with their work and working 1:1 with these pupils
- Managing difficult behaviours
- Taking the register
- Supervising on lunch and break times
- Supporting and managing teaching assistants within the classroom
- Building relationships with staff and pupils
- Collecting evidence of children's work to support their assessments
- Feedback to the relevant member of staff about the children's progress
