Summary

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Coordinator to work in an leading SpLD Support Service, providing help to students in developing study skills strategies. This is an excellent opportunity to develop leadership and management skills in a high-quality support service and make a difference to our students journeys at the University.

As Learning Support Coordinator, you will: -

Manage all aspects of the delivery of high-quality specialist study skills for all disabled students. This will include managing advice, guidance and enquiries, developing resources to support students’ self-agency and maintaining the delivery of high-quality specialist study skills support sessions throughout the academic year on a one-to-one basis and in group settings.

Manage the delivery of an effective SpLD support enquiry service based on student choice and convenience. This will include developing new strategies in response to student need in both a face to face and online environment.

Work with academic colleagues to provide specialist advice and guidance around best practice and the consideration of anticipatory and individual reasonable adjustments for disabled students.

About You

As Learning Support Coordinator, you will have:

Experience of providing high quality student focused support to disabled students in Higher Education
Excellent Management, interpersonal and communication skills
Strong collaborative working practices and experience of developing and delivering projects
