Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour plus when applicable, £91 per night sleeping night allowance.
I am a disabled woman in my 30s looking for active and enthusiastic female Personal Assistants with similar interests to help me live my best life.
My interests include theatre and cinema, adapted cycling, swimming, journalism, and blogging. I also need help with my personal care and therapies eg physiotherapy and hydrotherapy.
You will be:
- Comfortable driving my wheelchair accessible vehicle/hold a clean manual driving licence (essential)
- Willing to support me in my adapted cycling and swimming activities
- Able to help me plan and organise
- Proactive and patient in approach
- Reliable and committed
- Ideally able to travel away and stay with me overnight when I go away from home
- Able to support my personal care and health therapy needs (training provided)
Shift pattern will initially be days - to allow for training and familiarisation. Thereafter working hours by agreement - two or three consecutive days including overnight sleep ins. Some weekend working.
May suit you if you have a health/social care background/experience or are an older student with an interest in health and disability.
