Job Description

Stirling Council have a critical position available for a highly motivated individual as Strategic Energy Coordinator within the Sustainable Development Team. This position presents an exciting opportunity to be a part of an expanding team and play a key role to transform Stirling into a sustainable City. Therefore, you will be passionate about sustainable development and making a real change for future generations, and be able to demonstrate this.

The post (Strategic Energy Coordinator) will be an integral role working primarily on energy related tasks and driving towards our ambitious net zero targets. The work will involve managing a small team, managing data and energy models, and innovative project management which will all align with our Local Heat and Energy Efficiency Strategy, Climate and Nature Emergency Plan, and Regional Energy Masterplan.

You will: be an effective communicator; be well organised; be educated to a relevant degree level; be enthusiastic, analytical and self-motivated with a desire to develop your existing skill set in a field which is growing exponentially.
