Operations Manager
What an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join a Dorset-based Engineering and Manufacturing business who are experiencing growth.
Operations Manager is a new position within this business and would suit a driven individual who knows how to scale up, take control, and oversee key activities including Manufacturing and Customer relationship teams.
Key responsibilities as Operations Manager:
- Take responsibility for developing and implementing effective business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
- You will deliver leadership and direction to the business, nurturing a work environment that promotes collaboration, teamwork, and quality.
- With a focus on continuous improvement, you will optimise resources to achieve maximum efficiency, productivity, and expansion.
- Evaluate and mitigate risks to protect the company's assets and reputation.
- Understand and develop Customer teams to ensure the highest level of service and quality possible.
Experience as Operations Manager:
- Experience in a similar leadership role in an Engineering and Manufacturing environment
- Demonstrable experience in driving operational efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Track record of successfully managing results in a fast-paced environment
- A strong leader, with the ability to inspire, influence and lead by example.
- An excellent communicator, and a great people person who understands the importance of building relationships both internally and with clients.
