Summary

Elevate your career with a pivotal role in a thriving Rochdale-based manufacturing environment. A competitive hourly rate of £11.44 is on offer for a dedicated Creeler, with a work schedule designed to balance professional commitment and personal time effectively: Monday to Thursday, 07:30 am to 5:00 pm, and an early finish on Friday at 11:30 am.

In this essential position, the successful candidate will be integral to the textile production process, ensuring the continuous supply of yarn to the looms. Precision and attention to detail are paramount, as maintaining the flow of materials is critical to the seamless operation of the production line.

The role demands a candidate with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience in a similar role within the textile industry would be advantageous, but a willingness to learn and adapt is equally valued. The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team is essential, as is a commitment to maintaining a safe and tidy workspace.

Responsibilities include:
- Loading and threading yarn onto the looms.
- Monitoring yarn supply and replacing spools as necessary.
- Identifying and rectifying breaks or defects in the yarn.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area.

Skills and experience required:
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
- A proactive approach to identifying and solving issues.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or textile environment is preferred but not essential.
