Summary
SUPPORT WORKERS URGENTLY REQUIRED FOR VARIOUS SHIFTS – EXCELENT RATES OF PAY!! Our client is looking for experienced Care Assistants to work in the Worksop to start work immediately. They provide a short term residential care setting that can accommodate 10 residents with Learning Difficulties. You will be required to work alongside the established team of Carers in providing an individualised plan of care taking into account their personal developmental health needs and requirements. This is a short term respite unit so there is a high turnover of residents with varying conditions so it is fast paced and rewarding.
You will be required to follow individual care plans and complete paperwork and reporting any problems to the senior members of staff. You will be assisting in the resident’s activities of daily living, including aspects of personal care. You will be expected to work on a one to one basis with some residents at times. You must have an awareness and passion to work people with Learning Difficulties as this role is mainly one to one care.
• You must have experience in a similar role with time served checkable work history.
• You will need in date Mandatory training documents such as Safeguarding, Infection control and Moving & Handling as a bare minimum or be prepared to do further training which we can facilitate.
• You must have an up-to-date DBS/ CRB check for adult services, preferably on the update service or be willing to pay for one upfront.

Typical working hours will be :
Early 08:00-14:00
Late 14:00-22:00
Long day 08:00-22:00
Night 20:00-08:00
