Summary

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Security Officer for a revamped, busy & refurbished corporate retail shopping centre.
The applicant will demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users.
Information:

Position: Security Officer
Location: London (W1K)
Pay Rate: £13.65 per hour
Hours: 42 hours per week
Shifts: 4 On 4 Off - Days

Job Requirements:

SIA Door Supervisor Licence required
Security Experience is required – Ideally retail or customer service sector
Must be flexible and be able to work; days, nights, weekends and have the flexibility to change shifts due to operational needs
Must have good command of English language
Good levels of customer service, communication both written & verbal at all times
Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
Maintains working knowledge of the locations & security & safety for assigned areas
Flexible in the approach to daily duties
First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence is a bonus
Must have five years of checkable work history

Able to work in a team as well as on your own and have the ability to be pro-active and think on your feet use initiative
Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner
Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk during shift
Confident in writing incident and shift reports
The ability to be pro-active and think on your feet use initiative
To always portray a friendly, professional and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language.
To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing an exceptional customer service at all times ensuring that their expectations are met, if not exceeded.
The role includes you to conduct opening & closing procedures of a building, patrolling, reception duties, conducting emergency procedures. Fire exit checks, Reporting of defects on site, Basic IT, customer service, radio communications
To have a smart appearance befitting the company
Be confident you are able to undertake 100% of all specific duties
Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested
