Role Purpose:

You are the marketer for the Own Brand Beauty business.

You will be working with the Own Brand & Exclusives Marketing Manager in defining what Studio London stands for, managing Studio London Social media accounts, building brand guidelines, developing offline and online marketing support for OB NPDs and in creating marketing assets to bring more customers to the Own Brand Beauty business year on year. You will also be looking after other OB beauty categories such as but not limited to accessories and gifting.


A typical day in this role includes:

Working with the insight team, store colleagues and others you will be the closest to the customer, understanding the customer profiles of own brand business and looking for opportunities to reach customers who fit this profile but don’t shop with us.
Together with the Marketing Manager, you will lead marketing projects within the business, from supporting seasonal or brand campaigns, working with the online community – online media and influencers alike, to the trial of new social media platforms to build brand awareness and incite trial for top OB Beauty brands
Working with internal teams and external agencies (such as Creative, Media, PR, Digital and Activation Agencies) to develop the marketing support and calendar for Studio London & Own Brand Gifting.
Together with the Marketing Manager, you will be accountable for the Studio London social media profiles, for developing content, growing the user base and using this as a platform to drive sales.
You will be accountable for dressing up the permanent fixtures for Studio London
You will also be responsible for offline and online support for top OB beauty brands on an Evently basis from POS to social media, etc
Working with the Own Brand team you will define the brand values, create guidelines and make sure the brand comes to life in each touchpoint that it shows up to customers.
Ensuring the best use of owned platforms to promote own brand beauty products. This could range from corporate social media assets, radio adverts, DARE magazine to POS
Together with your Marketing Manager, you will develop and implement annual organic and paid Marketing support for OB Beauty NPDs
Creating marketing assets to support a new or fast-growing brand, ensuring we are maximizing opportunities behind trends and products
Working with your Manager, you will ensure that the budget is tracked and managed in line with spend and while delivering the best ROI.

What you’ll need:
Experience working in a fast paced environment is a must
You need to have some experience developing marketing materials and bringing these to life
Previous experience working in product marketing or brand management is a bonus but not required.
A degree in marketing would be beneficial but not essential
You will have a good understanding of social media channels and a keen interest in social media marketing for business
You will have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Photoshop or other photo editing software experience would be beneficial.

Hours: 37.5 | 9.00am - 5.30pm - Hybrid working available depending on role responsibilities with 2 days working from home and 3 days in our stylish, modern and collaborative office close to East Croydon Station.
