John Ferneley College are seeking to appoint a highly organised and motivated Absence and Cover Coordinator to provide a confidential and high-quality cover for other staff members.

Role
In this role you will require a high attention to detail and maintain confidentially. To be responsible for the management of the schools cover and midday supervision on a daily basis. Inclusive of managing the school cover supervisors, midday supervisors, supply teachers and agency teachers. This role will also include maintaining and managing the school absence process, working alongside the Trust People & Culture (HR) team to help uphold the absence and leave policy and sickness absence policy and procedures.

The remuneration package includes a competitive salary, generous annual leave entitlement and contributory public-sector pension scheme:
• This role will be 37.0 hours per week over 5 days and is Term time plus INSET plus one week in the holiday.
• Salary will be Grade 8, £26,427 (LCC15) - £28,776 (LCC18) FTE dependent on experience.
• Actual salary based on 37.0 term time plus inset plus one week will be: £23,198.08 - £25,260.07
• Working weeks: 40- Term time plus INSET plus one week on the holiday
• Paid weeks: 45.80363
