Summary


Hailsham/ Friston Ward at Eastbourne District General Hospital are looking to appoint a Band 2 Healthcare Assistant into a full time post 37.5 hours a week. Previous employment with in the NHS would be an advantage, but full training would be given.

The successful applicant should have previous experience in a caring profession. Have good communication skills, work well in a team, work under pressure and have a willingness to expand and develop their nursing skills.



Hailsham Ward is a 41 bed surgical ward taking elective patients for a range of surgical specialties. Friston ward is a 28 bed emergency unit for ENT and Urology.

An informal visit to the ward is recommended. The post covers both day and night shifts, this will be discussed further at interview.

If successful, the applicant would join a busy team of dedicated nurses that provide a high standard of care to patients.
