Summary
Thorn Baker Industrial are recruiting for a number of production operatives to work for a busy concrete plant in Alfreton. This well known, national company have immediate temporary to permanent vacancies on a fixed day shift.
The Job:
Working in a team, with full training given, you will be responsible for:
• Physical and manual labour, safely moving heavy products around a busy production environment
• Assisting with the mixing and pouring of concrete into moulds
• Stripping finished concrete products out of their moulds / casts
• Checking the finished product to ensure it meets specifications
• Ensuring all health and safety site requirements are met
About You:
• Previous concrete experience is highly advantageous
• Comfortable with physically demanding work
• Looking for a long term opportunity
• Overhead crane license and FLT license are beneficial
The Hours:
Sunday to Thursday, 9pm - 6.30am, 45 hour working week
The Pay:
£12.34 per hour + overtime from £16.02 to £20.59 per hour
