An opportunity has arisen for two Council Resources Systems Officers to work within our Revenues Service based at John Muir House, Haddington.

Our Council Resources Systems Team is responsible for managing, supporting and developing a wide range of Council systems and working with our Services to develop and improve their business.

Educated to a minimum of HNC or SVQ Level 3 in Finance, Business Management or IT, and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant working experience, the successful candidates must be able to illustrate experience of successful project work, excellent communication skills, initiative, creativity, analytical thinking and problem solving.

Home Working Consideration

To design and develop system processes that support and improve our business and to assist with system housekeeping, data security and data quality across all systems.

Job Requirements

Relevant Qualifications
Educated to HNC or SVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.
