Fantastic Commercial Apprentice opportunity at FM Conway!

FM Conway are currently searching for a Commercial Apprentice to join our Aggregate and Asphalt division based at our head office in Sevenoaks. This is a full time, permanent role, offering full training and a clear career pathway. As part of your role, you will complete a Level 6 Chartered Manager (Degree).

As our Commercial Apprentice, you will work in a supported learning environment developing skills and knowledge for a commercial role. These will include customer service, sales, complaints, business administration and analytics. The role will also include elements of general business management.

The duties of the Commercial Apprentice Role will include:

-Pursuing your studies to gain the required knowledge, skills, and behaviours of a junior Business Manager

-Being responsible for the successful completion of your apprenticeship, passing the required end point assessment and gaining work related qualifications

-Pricing enquiries for the supply for asphalt for account and non-account customers

-Identifying new customers and following the sales process through to closing out the sale

-Taking customer orders and ensuring the accuracy of those orders

-Undertaking customers surveys both over the phone and in person at Conway manufacturing operations

-Conducting market research to better understand target markets and sectors, working towards making face to face visits to customers

What skills and experience do you need?

We are looking for candidates with A-Level’s, minimum BCC. You will have good relationship building skills, be self-motivated, able to show initiative and be resourceful.
