Based within our Vocational Education Team and you will be required to work alongside other Vocational Education Co-Ordinator’s and report to our Vocational Education Project Manager. Undertaking the operational administration and co-ordination of the delivery of the Vocational Education programme, including any necessary liaison with staff, workplace supervisors, Services, and external agencies. To co-ordinate the Vocational Education/Foundation Apprenticeship programme across all North Lanarkshire Secondary Schools.

As Vocational Education Project Co-ordinator you will manage the development and implementation of vocational/apprenticeship courses across all North Lanarkshire Council secondary establishments. This post will also lead on the development of all aspects of North Lanarkshire’s partnership with Skills Development Scotland Foundation Apprenticeship Programme.

Educated to a minimum of SVQ3/HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline, you will have proven experience in coordinating and delivery of projects within a complex environment. Experience of sourcing external placements and partnership working. Experience of working within a large multi discipline organisation. You should further demonstrate high personal drive and motivation alongside excellent communication and partnership working experience.

You should have experience within Vocational Training and Apprenticeship delivery. Your work experience should encompass proficiency in all stages of training and development, preparation of successful funding cases and an ability to operate within a multi-disciplinary team.
