Summary
TTS 24-7 RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY IS DELIGHTED TO BE SUPPORTING OUR CLIENT BASED IN CENTRAL SCOTLAND, WITH A NEW AND EXCITING OPPORTUNITY!
We are recruiting a team of diligent Litter Pickers to support the current team.
Established in 2013, our client is a specialist in the Events and Festivals sector, they provide Litter and Waste management services to indoor and outdoor music festivals, sports, cultural, and agricultural events across the Scotland and the North of England.
DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
*Organise and distribute bins of 240L, 360L, and 1100L sizes according to instructions and predetermined schedule.
*Ensure proper labelling of bins in accordance with provided guidelines.
*Utilize designated personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools such as the Womble Stick and bags to collect and lift litter, depositing it into appropriate bins for recycling or disposal.
*Employ leaf blowers, vacuums, or brushes to gather and separate litter, facilitating its collection for recycling purposes (training will be provided)
*Transfer contents of bins into bags using the Womble Stick or gloves, optimizing storage space and streamlining servicing of bins.
*Sort segregated waste fractions including glass, plastics, cans, and cardboard into designated containers for accumulation and subsequent recycling.
*Empty skips as per specific instructions.
*Retrieve full bins for servicing and collaborate with the refuse collection vehicle (RCV) crew to ensure efficient waste management.
JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS:
*£12 per hour
*Variety of shift patterns
*Weekday and Weekend availability
Whilst working with TTS 24-7 Recruitment you will be paid weekly, every Wednesday!
