Advanced Practitioner MSK - 18.75+ hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team of Advanced Practitioners in a split role between the MSK Coastal Assessment Service and local primary care providers as a First Contact Practitioner (FCP).

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Advanced Practitioner (AP) who is passionate about delivering excellent clinical management to patients presenting to our MSK services. The AP role within MSK Coastal is varied and will include First Contact Physiotherapy, MSK interface triage, advanced MSK assessment /treatment and physiotherapy sessions, as well as clinical supervision and development of staff within our integrated MSK services. Candidates would need to be open to working across the Coastal West Sussex Region as we do operate clinics out of satellite sites and local GP practices, as well as Bognor Regis War Memorial Hospital.

We will consider candidates with less AP experience for a Band 7 developmental role where structured support would be given to upskill and gain AP competencies.

There is potential for additional hours should this be required.

The right candidate will be expected to deliver a high standard of patient-centred care, with a compassionate, friendly and approachable attitude, excellent team-working, communication and organisational skills.

The successful candidate will support the development and promotion of a positive and dynamic culture. You will be required to provide support and training to clinical staff and students.

Your application should demonstrate evidence of advanced/extended skill or work towards achieving these, with extensive experience of MSK physiotherapy. This may include experience with advanced physiotherapy skills, investigations, making referrals, injection therapy, independent prescribing , ultrasonography or working in primary care.
