Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Start Date: September 2024 or sooner
Wishmore Cross Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated primary teacher to join our friendly and supportive team. If you are passionate about inclusion, committed to achieving high standards, and share our vision of excellence for all, we would love to hear from you. Located in Chobham, Surrey, Wishmore Cross Academy is a special school for boys aged 7 to 16 with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. With a capacity for up to 82 pupils, we maintain small class sizes to ensure each student receives personalised attention. Set in beautiful grounds, we provide high-quality CPD to all staff through the instructional excellence model.
Our extensive facilities include:
- A school field and orchard, used for the 'Tree for Life' project
- A therapy suite with play therapy, speech and language therapy, and occupational therapy
- A soft play area, climbing wall, and sensory room to support student regulation and learning access
Additionally, we offer 7 subsidised flats on-site for staff, subject to availability.
