Summary

Our client, a multi disciplinary architectural practice, are currently looking for an Architectural Designer to join their growing team. Based in West Newcastle, this role will require some office working however can be done on a hybrid basis.

This role will provide a fantastic opportunity for an Architect looking to transition into a leadership role. As you develop into this role, you will have the chance to lead a dynamic design team while also taking charge of project management for a variety of exciting projects. This role is designed to utilise your hands-on experience whilst fostering your growth within this collaborative environment. If you're passionate about driving innovation and leading from the front, this could be an ideal role.

The Architectural Designer Role

As Architectural Designer, you will be instrumental in developing project concepts and executing designs that resonate with clients and communities alike. The position calls for involvement in all stages of the design process, from initial sketches to the final touches of construction documentation, ensuring a hands-on experience with diverse projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Utilise advanced design software to prepare detailed drawings and presentations.
• Engage with clients to refine design requirements and deliver bespoke solutions.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to inform design decisions.

About You

As Architectural Designer, you will ideally be a chartered professional (MICE, MIStruct, MRICS, MCIOB, MCIAT, ARB, RIBA) with experience working in a multi disciplined role.

Other requirements include:
• Ideally possess leadership experience in multi disciplined teams however this can be developed
• Must be Revit proficient
• Excellent personal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Demonstrable experience managing multiple fast paced projects
• Proficient in contract administration
• Strong construction knowledge
