Are you passionate about technology and possess a keen eye for diagnosing and resolving hardware issues? We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Configuration and Testing Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing and configuring laptops and PCs, diagnosing faults, performing necessary repairs, and ensuring that devices are up-to-date with the latest BIOS and firmware.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and Repair: Identify and troubleshoot hardware issues in laptops and PCs. Perform necessary repairs to resolve faults.

Testing and Configuration: Conduct thorough testing of laptops and PCs to ensure they meet quality standards. Configure hardware components and settings for optimal performance.

BIOS and Firmware Updates: Stay up to date with the latest BIOS and firmware releases. Update devices to ensure they are running the latest software versions.

Manage High Volumes: Efficiently handle a high volume of devices simultaneously. Prioritize tasks to meet production targets and maintain quality standards.

Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to share insights, collaborate on problem-solving, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience / strong passion in hardware configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of laptops and PCs.
- Strong knowledge of BIOS and firmware update procedures.
- Ability to manage high volumes of devices simultaneously without compromising quality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Hardware Maintenance) are a plus.
