To clean all areas of York Theatre Royal to a high standard.
Job Description
We are offering two part time contracts:
20 hours a week, working 9am to 1pm Monday to Friday
5 hours a week, working 10am to 3pm Saturdays
There may be some flexibility in the days worked, to meet the needs of the business. Any change to the working pattern will be agreed by both parties in advance.
Main Duties:
To maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout all YTR's buildings, as directed by the line managers responsible for cleaning.
To undertake all reasonable cleaning duties, as directed by the line manager responsible for cleaning.
To notify the line manager responsible for cleaning when cleaning materials need to be ordered, with appropriate notice.
To be aware of and abide by the Theatre's Health and Safety policy.
Job Requirements
Essential
Experience of working as a professional cleaner
A pride in ones' work
Excellent reliability and time keeping
The ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise own workload
The ability to be flexible and respond to work requirements
Excellent presentation skills and attention to detail
Ability to work mornings and weekends
Desirable
Flexible working to meet the cleaning demands of the Theatre
