Summary
Maintenance Engineer – Oldham
We’re recruiting for our client based in Oldham for a Maintenance Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.
We are looking for an experience Maintenance Engineer to join our client, with experience of Sheet Metal preferred but not essential. Your Day to Day duties will include but not limited to:
· Plant and Equipment Breakdowns
· Preventative Maintenance
· Administration of Maintenance Records for Plant and Equipment
You will be required to work safely with company Policy & Procedures.
This is a full time position with occasional but infrequent call outs. Rarely it may be required to work out of hours to avoid production stops for certain maintenance tasks.
The Ideal Candidate:
· Efficiently responds to plant and equipment breakdowns
· Compliance with Health and Safety procedures
· Electrical Experience (including PAT testing for which training will be provided if required)
· Experience with pumps, pipes, pneumatics and hydraulics
· Excellent time keeping
· General Plant Maintenance experience
· Valid driving license
· Fluent in English
· IT literate (e-mail, basic MS Excel, MS Word)
· FLT License, cherry picker
· Comfortable with working at height
Salary - £33500 - 40000 Depending on experience
