An exciting and challenging role has arisen within our Women & Newborn care group. You will be responsible for the admin team in various outpatient settings covering Gynaecology, urodynamics and the Ambulatory department within the Princess Anne Hospital. The successful candidate will be working in a busy fast paced environment so you will need excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload. Strong leadership skills are essential as you will be managing a large team of administrators daily.

The working hours are full time, 37.5 hours. All staff will be required to cover shifts on a rota basis of 8am -4pm and 9.00am -5.00pm. and 10-6pm when required Monday to Friday.

This role requires a dedicated and motivated manager to join our specialist admin team and lead the team forward with our ongoing service developments. You should also enjoy working with and meeting new people as you will be part of a varied multidisciplinary team and will have some direct patient contact.

You will be expected to undertake a wide range of roles and responsibilities which include:

• Primarily working on validation reports for W&N performance, this includes using excel and various trust IT systems daily.

• Clinic management.

• Be responsible for managing an administration team always following the relevant policies and procedures.

• You will be accountable for all administrative services, ensuring local and national targets are met and highlighting and managing capacity issues as they arise.

• Supporting and implementing all aspects of transformation within the outpatient setting.

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and enthusiastic individual with a mature, responsible and flexible outlook to join our busy and challenging department. You must have a caring and courteous manner with a thorough understanding of good customer service. The role is varied and busy and you will need to have a flexible approach to a demanding workload with changing priorities. Experience in our services is an advantage, however, versatility, initiative and attention to detail are essential.
