Your new role
- Maintain sales ledger accounts
- Ensuring customer information is correct
- Setting up new customers
- Sales orders are invoiced
- Dealing with queries
- Reconcile customer accounts
- Credit limit and payment terms reviews
- Monitor the ageing of debt
- Chasing debtors and collect cash (via phone and email)
- Review and resolve any daily banking
- Reconciliation of unallocated cash
- Collect data for cashflow forecasting
- Assist with month end
- Assist with the year-end audit
- Other financial administration
What you'll need to succeed
- Prior experience of working in a credit control position
- A good communicator, personable on the phone
- Ability to effectively chase debt
- Good with financial systems
- Need to be confident and can deal with customer queries
- Professional approach towards customer service
- You will also be immediately available to start
What you'll get in return
