Summary

Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Science for a secondary school in Wallasey. This is a permanent position for the new academic year. The successful applicant will be expected to deliver engaging and innovative lessons, inspire students, and play a key role in the development of the school's science department.
Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality science lessons for secondary school students.
  • Assess and record student progress and provide feedback to enhance student performance and progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop new strategies for teaching and learning.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and school training events.


Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in science, either biology, physics or chemistry.
  • Experience teaching Science at a secondary school level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils.
