Summary

Would you like to work for a local, family founded charity which has flourished and grown and now supports over 60 adults with a learning disability?
This is a new and exciting opportunity to join the Income Generation team to support the donated goods process.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Retail Co-ordinator and the E Commerce
Co-ordinator to ensure that donated goods achieve maximum sales through the best outlet.
You will lead the sorting donated items using the Gift Aid system which is currently being introduced, therefore, computer literacy is essential.
We are very fortunate in being supported by a group of dedicated volunteers who will be assisting in the sorting of donated goods process, an understanding of working with volunteers would be an advantage.
If you have a passion for fashion, a knack for bric a brac then you could be just the person we are looking for.
We would require the successful candidate to be a driver.

Able to undertake manual handling tasks as lifting is a prerequisite of the role
Being computer literate is essential
Excellent people management skills
Able to work under pressure in a busy working environment
Adhere to schedules
You will be flexible and agile in your approach, being able to adapt your approach to different circumstances and service demands
The post does require some flexibility as some weekend working may be required. We are looking to recruit to 15 hours per week over 3 days, usually Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Having a knowledge/experience of high end/designer brands would be an advantage as the successful candidate will be the first point of contact for all donated goods.
